South Korean Resettlement Centre Hack Exposes North Korean Defectors’ Personal Data

A computer at a state-run resettlement centre in North Gyeongsang province, South Korea, was hacked by unknown hackers, exposing the personal data of approximately 1,000 North Korean defectors. The exposed personal data include names, birth dates, and addresses. The unification ministry said that no computers at other resettlement centres across the country had been hacked.
